CMN Hospital COVID-19 Crisis Management Plan

CMN Hospital is committed to the safety and well-being of our patients and medical team.  We have implemented a crisis management plan that minimizes the risk of COVID-19 infection for everyone. CMN hospital will care for patients by strictly adhering to the following guidelines:

Every patient and their companion will be tested for COVID-19. Our medical personnel wear personal protective equipment (PPE) to create a barrier between you and germs which reduces the chance of touching, being exposed to, and spreading germs. Patients and their companion will wear a mask anytime they leave their private hospital room and on outings because it protects you, health care workers and other people from infections. All hospital staff, patients, and visitors will use PPE when there will be contact with blood or other bodily fluids.

Wearing Gloves and/or Washing hands and using hand sanitizer protects everyone from germs and helps reduce the spread of germs.

Masks to cover your mouth and nose.

  • Some masks have a see-through plastic part that covers our eyes.

  • A surgical mask helps stop germs in your nose and mouth from spreading. It can also keep you from breathing in some germs.

Help prevent the spread by:

  • Avoiding close contact with people at risk

  • Covering your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then properly dispose of the tissue in the trash

  • Avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth

  • Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces

  • Washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and using hand sanitize

The Mayor’s office of San Luis Rio Colorado and State Health Secretary have been diligently working to protect everyone in our community, both residents and essential visitors. Our medical team has been in contact with both offices to be sure that we are all working together to keep everyone as safe as possible. CMN hospital has taken every precaution necessary to quickly adapt to any new developments as they arise. Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation during this unusual time. We welcome any questions, as your health and safety are our number one priority.
